Massage

At The Centre, we offer a choice of Remedial, Relaxation, Hot Stone and Chinese massage (Tui Na)

Massage is a simple yet powerful healing art.  Touch is a basic human instinct and has the power to comfort and reassure on many levels.  It can relax the body, calm the mind and encourage healing and wellbeing.  The touch of hands on the body soothes away mental stress and restores emotional equilibrium at the same time.

Relaxation massage therapy with Mary Tobin

Mary's style of massage is a harmonious blend of Swedish massage, deep tissue massage and reiki.  Mary draws on her study of reflexology and concentrates part of the massage session on the feet, hands and scalp.  As well, the use of aromatherapy oils in your massage blend will serve to uplift, soothe and invigorate you.  Each massage is intuitive, and may include guided imagery and relaxation techniques, which will be discussed with you prior to commencement of the session.

Chinese massage (Tui Na) with Cassandra Sullivan

Tui Na is often used in conjunction with Acupuncture therapy, in particular with Musculoskeletal conditions.  It involves particular Chinese massage methods that are used over Acupuncture channels and points in order to remove stagnation, improve circulation and to move energy throughout the Acupuncture channels in the body.
