What to expect

All activities are optional - if you would prefer to sleep in, go for a walk, or have some time to yourself - the choice is yours.  The aim of this retreat is to rest and recharge your batteries.

Our yoga classes on the retreat can probably be best described as a mixture of yin and restorative styles.

Restorative yoga is simply that - restorative. Our classes will involve slow, mindful, gentle movements allowing deep stretching and relaxation.  Our focus is generally kept on the breath - to calm the body and mind and to be wholly present. To take notice of each breath in and each breath out, as with meditation.

Our gentle yoga classes are suitable for all levels, from beginners who have no previous yoga experience, to those that practice yoga regularly.
